Popular Christian conservative rapper Bryson Gray burned a pair of Balenciaga shoes in his new music video taking aim at the fashion house.
Balenciaga has been under fire for a series of images from their new campaigns that featured children holding stuffed animals in bondage gear, a Supreme Court ruling about child pornography, and other signals of support for pedophilia.
Notice how not a single bank has dropped Balenciaga.
“Threw away Nike, and now I burn Balenciaga,” Gray says, before warning that “they keep coming for our kids.”
Speaking to the Gateway Pundit, Gray explained that they were his favorite shoes — but that people need to stand up against evil.
“To be honest, they were my favorite shoes,” Gray said, “but we have to hurt their brand. We have to influence people not to wear them and burn what they have from them.”
“We are at war,” Gray continued. “Good vs evil. The song is just part of the sound track. This is how you change culture.”
Gray is best known for his viral songsTrump is Your President, Safe Space, Gun Totin’ Patriot, and Maga Steppin’.
The New York Times, for example, published an article that dismissively blamed the complaints about the pedophilia symbolism and imagery on QAnon and Tucker Carlson, despite the fact that Balenciaga has apologized and filed a lawsuit over one of the photoshoots.
Apple helped the Chinese Communists this month suppress the mass protests against the regime.
Sadly, the freedom protesters were not able to use AirDrop, a file-sharing feature on iPhones that allows users to share content in authoritarian states.
Apple removed the feature in their latest update in China and did not notify users.
Anti-government protests flared in several Chinese cities and on college campuses over the weekend. But the country’s most widespread show of public dissent in decades will have to manage without a crucial communication tool, because Apple restricted its use in China earlier this month.
AirDrop, the file-sharing feature on iPhones and other Apple devices, has helped protestors in many authoritarian countries evade censorship. That’s because AirDrop relies on direct connections between phones, forming a local network of devices that don’t need the internet to communicate. People can opt into receiving AirDrops from anyone else with an iPhone nearby.
That changed on Nov. 9, when Apple released a new version of its mobile operating system, iOS 16.1.1, to customers worldwide. Rather than listing new features, as it often does, the company simply said, “This update includes bug fixes and security updates and is recommended for all users.”
Hidden in the update was a change that only applies to iPhones sold in mainland China: AirDrop can only be set to receive messages from everyone for 10 minutes, before switching off. There’s no longer a way to keep the “everyone” setting on permanently on Chinese iPhones. The change, first noticed by Chinese readers of 9to5Mac, doesn’t apply anywhere else.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) has gathered an array of influential Republicans to review the Republican Party’s lackluster midterm election performance.
The RNC announced Tuesday it will review the party’s performance by launching a “Republican Party Advisory Council” to analyze why Republicans failed to achieve what was perceived to be an incoming red wave.
Those asked to be on the review board are some of the most prominent conservative minds, including former President Donald Trump’s former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, former Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters, and conservative attorney and RNC committeewoman Harmeet Dhillon.
The review will likely be concluded and published in the early part of 2023, just before the 2024 presidential campaign season kicks into gear.
RNC chair Ronna McDaniel, the niece of failed presidential candidate Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), said she assembled a “diverse” council to “chart a winning course in the years to come.”
“As we assess the midterms and plan for 2024, we are gathering a diverse range of respected leaders in our movement to join together and help chart a winning course in the years to come,” she said in a statement to Politico. “I am thrilled that this talented group of Republicans will be shoulder to shoulder with us as we work to grow our party, hold Democrats accountable, and elect Republicans.”
It’s a good thing that they’re doing this.
NEW: The RNC is launching a review of the party’s performance in the midterm election and bringing on a team of outside advisers to help guide strategy, as the GOP reckons with its disappointing performance in the election.https://t.co/DY9DxHHBFm
Earlier Wednesday, The Gateway Pundit published an article as an “open letter” to Elon Musk at Twitter.
TGP’s Jim Hoft is the lead plaintiff in a case that is, as we speak, deposing Dr. Anthony Fauci. TGP founder Jim Hoft is unable to connect with millions of people through Twitter to update them on the deposition because of a suspension after posting video footage of reported ballots being dropped off at the TCF Center in Detroit, Michigan, at 4 am following the General Election in 2020. You can read the open letter to Elon here.
After posting a poll about reinstating President Donald Trump last week, Elon has shifted his focus to a more wide-range of users: everyone.
Musk posted a poll to Twitter asking about granting general amnesty to accounts that didn’t break the law or spam egregiously.
In a tweet posted, Elon asked:
“Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?”
According to the results, a majority (72.4%) of respondents agree that suspended accounts should be reinstated.
According to Platformer, Twitter has begun the process of reinstating roughly 62,000 accounts with more than 10,000 followers since Musk’s poll.
The employees referred to the move as “the Big Bang.”
BREAKING (Platformer News) — Twitter has begun process to reinstate some 62,000 suspended accounts with 10k followers or more, including one account with over 5 million followers, and 75 accounts with over 1 million followers.
The outlet reported: “In fact, since Musk’s poll, Twitter has begun the process of reinstating roughly 62,000 accounts with more than 10,000 followers, Platformer has learned, including one account that has over 5 million followers, and 75 accounts with over 1 million followers. (The identities of the accounts could not be learned before press time.) Internally, employees have referred to this event as “the Big Bang.”
The Gateway Pundit shared the story of the encampments located just over the border in Mexico where violence has routinely broken out.
Earlier this month, a group of illegal migrants, previously removed from the U.S., stormed Border Patrol Agents on the US side of the border from their tent city on the Mexican border. The migrants were seen marching toward the border with a large banner reading, “We Migrants Build America.”
The migrants, largely from Venezuela, were deported by the U.S. and have taken refuge in the tent city hoping to eventually re-enter the U.S.
Over the last two days, authorities have been working to clear the camp and create a police presence to discourage migrants from trying to cross the board via the river.
The disassembling of the encampment has led to skirmishes between authorities and inhabitants.
For a second consecutive day, Mexican police in riot gear removed Venezuelan migrants from a makeshift camp near the Rio Grande.
Monday’s action took place at a park in the Bella Vista neighborhood where some 100 Venezuelans ousted Sunday from a tent camp along the Rio Grande moved to, rather than go to shelters.
“There will be a police presence to prevent them from going to the river. I know that today we see them in other places. We’ll start a dialogue because we are trying to avoid new settlements,” City Secretary Hector Ortiz said at a news conference on Monday
A day earlier, Juarez police and Mexican National Guard troops showed in force at a tent camp along the Rio Grande occupied by nearly 600 Venezuelan and Central American migrants were staying since mid-October.
A scuffle broke out when the migrants realized they were being kicked out, but in the end, they left of their own accord, Ortiz said.
“The International Boundary and Water Commission had alerted us to some safety concerns. There was a risk of drownings with the tents to close to the river. There was also a high risk of fire. They had a lot of tents with blankets inside and at the same time they had wood stoves and lit fires at night to mitigate the cold temperatures,” Ortiz said. “They were in unsafe and unhealthy conditions. […] This was communicated to (the migrants), we realized we would not convince them to leave, so at noon the cleanup began.”
Ed Dowd joined Steve Bannon on The War Room on Frank Speech recently to discuss the excess mortality rates we are witnessing following two years of the COVID vaccine mandates.
Ed Dowd, an equity investment executive, joined The War Room back in March with an explosive report on the excess number of deaths recorded in the US since the introduction of the experimental vaccines. Back in March Dowd said that U.S. millennials, aged 25-44, experienced a record-setting 84% increase in excess mortality during the final four months of 2021.
It’s still happening! According to Ed Dowd, the latest numbers from August show an excess mortality rate of 36% for millennials.
Ed Dowd: This is the biggest crime I’ve seen in the history of my career. And it’s the greatest asymmetric information gap I’ve ever seen. Meaning, we on the War Room know it. You know it. Lots of people know it. Some of the lawmakers I talk to know it. But 90% of the globe has no idea what just happened to them. We’re still seeing as of August of this year 36 percent excess mortality, I’ve seen the society of actuary numbers. They don’t publish them regularly, they only publish them annually… 2022, the month of August, 36% excess mortality rate for millennials. So it’s still going on, Steve.
It boggles my mind. And the lack of noise we’re hearing on this, the crickets we’re hearing from the health institutions, and politicians, and the drug makers… They know what we know. I’m calling it a cover-up. I’m calling it criminal negligence at this point.
The Biden economy keeps getting worse. But the Dems know that if they can’t ever lose an election they can do whatever they want to destroy the United States of America.
Only a couple of days ago, TGP reported that thanks to the Biden Administration’s America killing policies, business activity is slumping across the country.
We learned a day before that on Thanksgiving that the cost of a turkey dinner got much more expensive than a year ago. The price for a Thanksgiving turkey dinner increased by 20% over the prior year.
Just the News reported on the latest numbers from small businesses. The results are terrible and getting worse. Small businesses are struggling to stay alive with expenses increasing drastically due to Biden inflation. The number of small businesses unable to pay their rent has increased the past few months.
More than 40% of U.S. small business owners say they couldn’t pay rent on time or in full for the month of November, the highest this year.
The small business network group Alignable released the survey, which found that the hardship varies by industry. A notable 57% of beauty salons said they couldn’t make rent as well as 45% of gyms, 44% of retail and 44% of restaurants.
“Making matters worse, this occurred during a quarter when more money should be coming in and rent delinquency rates should be decreasing,” Alignable said. “But so far this quarter, the opposite has been true.”
This latest report continues a steady increase in businesses that can’t pay rent this year.
“Last month, rent delinquency rates increased seven percentage points from 30% in September to 37% in October,” Alignable said. “And now, in November, that rate is another four percentage points higher, reaching a new high across a variety of industries.”
Business owners cite a range of reasons for the difficulty making rent, including higher rent costs and lower revenue. But 60% cite inflation.
What a mess the Biden gang has got us in. It’s so bad it must be intentional.
This fall, the New York City Department of Education initiated a partnership with the consulate of the Dominican Republic to address a shortage in bilingual educators in the City’s public schools. The program allows Dominican teachers to qualify for cultural exchange visas with a commitment to teach in the city.
The New York Daily News reports that “the ‘cultural exchange’ program will bring 25 Dominican teachers to city schools this year, and another 25 next year, according to the DOE.”
The number will grow to 50 teachers by the end of the year and 500 in the next five years.
But the new teachers are facing pressure from DOE staffers to stay quiet about the cost of rooms they are renting or risk being removed from the program. It seems that the powers that be don’t want the word to get out that they may be taking advantage of the foreign recruits.
Bilingual educators brought from the Dominican Republic to work for the city Department of Education were ordered by a middle school teacher to shut up about the steep cost of the rooms they were forced to rent — or be exiled from the program, they told The Post.
The Dominican recruits said Rosse Mary Savery, a teacher at MS 80 in the Bronx under Principal Emmanuel Polanco, warned them not to tell a soul about having to fork over a monthly $1,350 to $1,450 each for a single room in apartments where they share a kitchen and bathroom with colleagues.
“She told us that we cannot talk about the rent to anybody. That was the main thing that she said: ‘Don’t talk to anybody. Don’t tell anybody how much you’re paying,’” a teacher quoted Savery as saying.
Currently, 19 Dominican teachers are shacked up in the Bronx at three rooming houses run by the Association of Dominican American Supervisors and Administrators — a fraternal group of DOE principals and other employees.
According to their website, ADASA’s vision “Is to develop trailblazing leaders who create opportunities for positive change in the lives of children. The mission of ADASA is to build and sustain an association of Dominican-American supervisors, administrators and strategic partners within the field of education. Our members advocate for, and work to advance educational opportunities for all students, with a particular focus on immigrant populations. We promote excellence, equity, and growth opportunities for all students, their families and the professional community that directly impacts them.”
The Post continues:
After the teachers’ pleas for receipts of their rent payments went unanswered, they sent an email asking Calcaño, Polanco and Savery for a meeting to discuss their concerns about costs.
In response, Savery called the request “a threat” that could jeopardize their US visas and their chances of bringing families to join them in New York, a teacher recalled.
“If you don’t want to get in trouble with your family coming here, you have to write back in that email and say you wouldn’t be part of the meeting,” Savery said, according to a teacher.
Amid a widening scandal over the Dominican teacher program, the DOE removed Polanco, first vice president of ADASA, from MS 80 this month. Last week, three members of ADASA’s executive board — Polanco, Calcaño and Jay Fernandez — abruptly booted Socorro Diaz, the organization’s president.
After days of heavy rainfall, the Italian island of Ischia was engulfed in a landslide that burying everything in its path. Italian officials are still assessing the situation but believe up to a dozen people may be trapped under the mud. One body has reportedly already been recovered.
The torrent of mud and debris dislodged trees, engulfed buildings and dragged cars into the sea as it reached the coast early on Saturday.
The body of a woman was reported to have been found under the mud, and several other people are still missing.
Dozens of homes are cut off, with bad weather hampering rescuers.
Resident Lisa Mocciaro told Ansa news agency: “We started hearing loud thunder at about 03:00 (02:00 GMT), then the first landslide came down, followed by a second one around 05:00. It was horrifying.”
Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi told reporters the situation was “very complicated” and that the people missing were believed to be trapped under the mud. Up to 155mm (6.1in) of rain fell over the course of six hours.
Heavy rains have been battering Campania, the region surrounding Naples and Ischia, for several days. A weather warning for rainfall and strong winds is in place until Sunday.
The new Disney animated movie, “Strange World,” opened to a disappointing $4.2 million on Wednesday and is expected to make less than $24 million in its first five days in theaters. For a movie with an estimated $180 million in production costs, those are worryingly low returns.
The movie is looking to be one of Disney’s biggest flops of all time.
The film scored a B CinemaScore, the lowest score ever for a Disney animated production, according to World of Reel. Since “Beauty and the Beast,” every Disney animated movie has been met with A+, A, or A- grades.
First time ever in a Walt Disney Animation Studios feature-length animated film, this movie featured a gay teen romance.
As Disney begins pushing “Strange World” for next week’s release, here’s the reminder that their “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” to target kids is ongoing. It’s a part of the plot of this movie, just as it was with “Lightyear.” Your kids, your choice. https://t.co/lMjsaDF8Lp
Strange World follows Ethan (voiced by Jaboukie Young-White), a young gay teenager whose identity is fully supported by both of his parents, Searcher (Jake Gyllenhaal), and Meridian (Gabrielle Union). Searcher and his family have eschewed a life of exploring in favor of becoming a farmer after Searcher’s own adventurous father Jaeger (Dennis Quaid) went missing when he was a child. The family is called into action by Callisto Mal (Lucy Liu), the president of the land of Avalonia who leads them to a strange new world. There the family encounters animals and plants they’ve never seen before, and one person they know all too well. Jaeger Clade, who has been missing for years.
While the family is dealing with this big adventure, Ethan is dealing with his own incredibly relatable drama. He gets tongue-tied whenever he’s around his crush, a boy named Diazo.
80’s pop icon and singer Irene Cara was found dead in her Florida home. Her publicist shared the news via Twitter on Saturday.
This is the absolute worst part of being a publicist. I can’t believe I’ve had to write this, let alone release the news. Please share your thoughts and memories of Irene. I’ll be reading each and every one of them and know she’ll be smiling from Heaven. She adored her fans. – JM pic.twitter.com/TsC5BwZ3fh
Irene Cara, the Oscar-winning singer of the title tracks to “Fame” and “Flashdance,” has died at age 63, her publicist announced late Friday.
Cara died in her Florida home of an undisclosed cause.
Her publicist confirmed her death to Eyewitness News.
“It is with profound sadness that on behalf of her family I announce the passing of Irene Cara,” publicist Judith A. Moose wrote.
Cara was trained in music, dance and acting as a child and appeared on stage and on television, including appearances on PBS and on Johnny Carson’s “The Tonight Show,” at a young age in the 1970s.
But she rocketed to fame when she was cast in the 1980 musical “Fame.” She was initially cast as a dancer but then had the role of Coco Hernandez written for her and she sang the title track.
She was nominated for two Grammys after “Fame,” for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Artist.
Cara won an Oscar in 1984 for the title track to the movie Flash Dance, ‘What a Feeling.’ The soundtrack for Flash Dance also earned Cara a shared Grammy for Best Album of Original Score Written for a Motion Picture or Television Special.
Cara was catapulted to stardom in the 1980 hit film Fame where she performed the title track.
On Saturday Western Journal founder Floyd Brown joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the recent developments in Arizona.
Earlier this month Democrats and RINO Republicans were able to suppress enough voters to steal the midterm elections in the state for Kari Lake and Democrats.
Floyd Brown reminded The War Room that if Arizona is stolen then Republicans will have an impossible task to win in 2024. If Democrats continue to violate our elections and ballots then there will not be another Republican president in 2024 or ever.
Floyd Brown: On Election Day… We had a complete disaster. Complete malfeasance in Election Day voting and literally thousands of people left the polls. Here in my neighborhood, there was a three-hour wait… Everyone out here knows Kari Lake won the election fair and square but they’re doing everything they can to be able to stop her from taking over as governor… Kari Lake is one of the most talented politicians or spokesmen for the MAGA movement, period. She is an unbelievably gifted communicator… It’s very vital Steve. The truth is if we don’t control Arizona there is no pathway for any Republican, I don’t care if it’s DeSantis or Trump or any other possible candidate. Without Arizona there is no path to winning the next presidency.
Democrats are very proud of themselves for finding a way through bloated voter rolls, mail-in ballots, phoney voters, ballot drop boxes, and voter suppression on Election Day to steal any election at will.
Mike Krupa is an American of Polish heritage living in Poland. He did a great interview with Doug MacGregor last week and I was honored that he thought me worthy of a similar virtual sit down and chin wag. The video is linked below.
One of the points we discussed is the curious and, at times, bizarre behavior of Poland with respect to Ukraine, Russia and Germany. Poland, in my view, is still suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a consequence of what happened to the country and its people in World War II. The key Polish leaders and many of its people are unable to forgive, forget and move on. Why do I say that?
Poland, for example, continues to press Germany to pay reparations.
Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau sent an official note to Germany’s Foreign Ministry on Monday requesting the payment. Last month, Poland’s ruling nationalist party declared Germany owed their eastern neighbor approximately $1.26 trillion.
https://ift.tt/qY8QuRH
The Germans reply, at least in private, is Keineswegs, verdammt noch mal (i.e., NO WAY IN HELL!) The official German position is very legal and very firm:
Germany claims all compensation to nations on the eastern front was paid in the immediate years after the war. While under rule by the Soviet Union in 1953, Poland’s leaders signed a deal with Germany that relinquished all claims of reparations from the war. . . .
After the war, Poland was given 40,000 square miles of Eastern Germany, according to the Wall Street Journal. Moreover, approximately 10 million ethnic Germans were forced to relocate by Polish authorities.
https://ift.tt/qY8QuRH
This sort of shatters the notion that the NATO alliance is solid. Raises a question about whether Germany would come to Poland’s aid in the event that Russia bombed Ukrainian training bases in Poland.
The Poles also are still very pissed at the Russians, blaming them for what the Soviet Union did. A particularly festering wound is the murder of more than 20,000 Polish officers, academics and political leaders in the Katyn Forest. NKVD Chief Lavrentiy Pavlovich Beria was the guy who recommended the slaughter:
The Poles also still fume over the Soviet Union decision to let the Nazis crush the Polish uprising in 1944 rather than send their forces to the rescue. The Soviets wanted a buffer state that they controlled and made sure that they installed a Polish government compatible with the Soviet Union. It does not matter that the current Russian leadership had nothing to do with the Soviet policies. In fact, it is Putin’s Russia who finally apologized for the heinous crime in Katyn:
In a symbolic admission of guilt, Russia’s parliament has declared that Joseph Stalin ordered his secret police to execute 22,000 Polish army officers and civilians in 1940, in one of the greatest mass murders of the 20th century.
Today’s acknowledgment of Stalin’s personal culpability over the Katyn massacre comes amid a cautious thaw between Moscow and Warsaw, whose recent relations have been thorny at best. It was also seen as a sign that Russia may finally be ready for muted self-scrutiny over its totalitarian past.
Mikhail Gorbachev admitted in 1990 that the NKVD was to blame for the massacre, after a half-century of the Soviets blaming it on Nazi troops. However, there has never been a formal statement which implicates the Soviet leadership in such explicit terms.
Officials in Warsaw greeted the declaration positively. “It is a good step, an important sign,” Poland’s speaker of parliament, Grzegorz Schetyna, told reporters. It would ensure a “better atmosphere” for Russian president Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Warsaw next week, he added.
https://ift.tt/G0EdujC
The real curiosity is why Poland embraces a regime in Ukraine that celebrates Stepan Bandera as a national hero, when it was the Bandera crew that massacred more Poles than the Soviets did at Katyn:
Between 1943 and 1945, Ukrainian nationalists attacked 99 Polish towns and villages in Wolyn, a Nazi-occupied region of Poland and is now part of Ukraine, and massacred thousands of Poles. It is estimated that around 100,000 Poles died at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists.
And here we are; Poland is in bed with modern day Ukrainian Nazis whose grandfathers murdered 100,000 Poles. Poland apparently has opted for amnesia when it comes to supporting the Zelensky regime in Ukraine.
We have a front row seat to history. In the coming weeks, Poland is likely to be inundated with a flood of Ukrainian refugees. I suspect that Polish enthusiasm for the war in Ukraine will take a hit. The critical question — will Poland’s resolve to back the war in Ukraine remain unchanged?
On Wednesday, the Biden regime banned the world’s largest sugar producer from exporting its product to the United States due to suspicions that it was produced using forced labor.
“Effective November 23, 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel at all U.S. ports of entry will detain raw sugar and sugar-based products produced in the Dominican Republic by Central Romana Corporation Limited (Central Romana),” US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a statement.
Although Central Romana is headquartered in the Dominican Republic, it is owned by the Fanjul family, who are influential sugar barons based in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to UPI.
Due to information suggesting that forced labor is being used by Central Romana, CBP issued a Withhold Release Order (WRO).
According to CBP, they have identified five of the International Labour Organization’s 11 indicators of forced labor during its investigation: abuse of vulnerability, isolation, withholding of wages, abusive working and living conditions, and excessive overtime.
“This Withhold Release Order demonstrates CBP’s commitment to protect human rights and international labor standards and to promote a fair and competitive global marketplace,” said CBP Acting Commissioner Troy Miller. “The agency will continue to set a high global standard by aggressively investigating allegations of forced labor in U.S. supply chains and keeping tainted merchandise out of the United States.”
“CBP continues to set the international standard for ensuring that goods made with forced labor do not enter U.S. commerce,” said AnnMarie R. Highsmith, Executive Assistant Commissioner, CBP Office of Trade. “Manufacturers like Central Romana, who fail to abide by our laws, will face consequences as we root out these inhumane practices from U.S. supply chains.”
One user commented on this decision, “So let me get this right possible forced labor in the Dominican republic but China has slave labor and this administration is in bed with them. Dominican Republic is not buying up land around our military bases plus they do not have their own police department in our country like China does. I guess if Dominican Republic was bribing this administration like China is they would not be banned. But wait, wasn’t it Nancy that wanted cheap/slave labor from the illegal aliens to work out farms?”
The People’s Republic of China (PRC) has conducted a widespread incarceration and political indoctrination campaign against Uyghurs, who are mostly Muslim, and other ethnic and religious minority groups in Xinjiang, a large region in western China.
In Xinjiang, the government is the trafficker, according to the U.S. Department of State.
Business and Human Rights Resource Center reported:
In March 2020, the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) published a report Uyghurs for sale: ‘Re-education’, forced labour and surveillance beyond Xinjiang, which identified 83 foreign and Chinese companies as allegedly directly or indirectly benefiting from the use of Uyghur workers outside Xinjiang through potentially abusive labour transfer programs.
ASPI estimates at least 80,000 Uyghurs were transferred out of Xinjiang and assigned to factories in a range of supply chains including electronics, textiles, and automotives under a central government policy known as ‘Xinjiang Aid’. The report identified 27 factories in nine Chinese provinces that are using Uyghur labour transferred from Xinjiang since 2017.
ASPI reached out to the 83 brands to confirm their relevant supplier details. Where companies responded before publication, they have included their relevant clarifications in their report.
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Abercrombie & Fitch, adidas, Amazon, BMW, Gap, H&M, Inditex, Marks & Spencer, Nike, North Face, Puma, PVH, Samsung and UNIQLO to respond; their responses are provided. We invited Apple, Esprit, and Fila to respond; they did not. L Brands sent its response after publication of our Weekly Update, in October 2020.
Richarlison scored one of the most sensational soccer goals ever for Brazil yesterday
Hundreds of thousands of Brazilians continued to protest their stolen presidential elections while celebrating Brazil’s triumphant start in the World Cup, beating Serbia 2-0. Meanwhile, President Bolsonaro and leftist Judge Alexandre de Moraes met with various arms of the Military in what could be the run-up to a military confrontation or coup.
Richarlison scored one of the most sensational soccer goals ever, with a kung-fu spin kick, sending the ball past Serbian defender Milos Veljkovic in the 73rd minute. Soccer-loving Brazil went nuts. Despite the all-important match, the protests in the streets of Brazil continued to swell.
In Qatar, Brazilian fans chanted “Lula ladrão, seu lugar é na prisão” ( “Lula, you Thief, you belong in jail!”), criticizing socialist Presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who was convicted of money laundering and embezzlement and sentenced to nine and a half years in prison in 2017 before the left-wing Supreme Court released him in 2019 and nullified the sentence in 2021.
The Liberal Party (PL) allied with President Bolsonaro announced it will appeal corrupt Justice Alexandre de Moraes’ decision to deny the party’s request to annul votes from 279,000 corrupted electronic voting machines, and to fine Bolsonaro’s coalition 22.9 million Reals (US$ 4.28 million), for “bad faith litigation”. According to the party, this reaction from the leftist pro-Lula Judge was expected. Potentially, the PL could appeal to Military Court, exacerbating the confromtation between the pro-Lula Supreme Court and the proi-Bolsonaro military.
The corrupt Judge Alexandre de Moraes met with commanders of the Military Police on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd, in Brasília, in a move criticized by Brazilian Vice-President Hamilton Mourão, who called it the “apex of authoritarianism.” Mourão stated there was a “justified controversy due to the issue of the reliability of electronic voting machines and the blunt and exacerbated actions of the Superior Electoral Court.”
Mourão defended the appeal presented by the Liberal Party that disputes the electoral results, which gave the victory to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The appeal “does not give the TSE the right to peremptorily reject it, impose absurd fines, and include the plaintiffs in an illegal investigation,” the Vice-President wrote.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, leftist Judge de Moraes wants to fine the Liberal Party, freeze its bank accounts and investigate the Party’s chairman. Moraes has also filed to have the Minister of Defense removed from office and wants to take the children of protestors away from them.
Congressman Marcel Van Hatten filed a request to open a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) to investigate abuse of authority committed by Judges of the Supreme Court and the Superior Electoral Court. “The adoption of censorship seems to have become the rule in Brazil, promoting the return of authoritarianism and establishing a true state of exception. Elected Parliamentarians and Congressmen in full exercise of their mandate are being silenced by the Judiciary.”
The commanders of the Army, Air Force and Navy advised Bolsonaro against any reaction to the judicial overreach of Alexandre de Moraes. The chiefs of staffsaid there was no consensus in the High Command on the application of Article 142, which empowers the Military to “restore order”, as many of the Brazilian protestors are demanding, asking for Moraes’ arrest and the dissolution of the Supreme Court.
On Nov. 9, Federal Representative José Medeiros filed for a Military takeover by means of a Guarantee of Law and Order request (GLO) under Article 142 of the Brazilian Constitution: “We are not going to accept this. I have asked that the Army and the Armed Forces guarantee the Brazilian people the right to express themselves and to take action so that this is guaranteed. I never thought I was going to have to ask the Army to guarantee our freedom rights, but we need a GLO.”
In September, Senator Lasier Martins presented two impeachment requests against Moraes due to his targeting businessmen for defending democracy in messages in a WhatsApp group.
GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy worked to crush the MAGA movement in Congress but now he wants their votes for speakership.
Only a week ago we uncovered that McCarthy was using funds from FTX to take out GOP Representative Madison Cawthorn who was a fan of President Trump and the MAGA movement.
But Cawthorn wasn’t the only MAGA candidate that McCarthy went after. He also went after many more.
Attorney Anthony Sabatini in Florida was one of them. Sabatini was a MAGA candidate that McCarthy worked against in the primary. The Florida House member lost in part due to McCarthy’s money used against him.
McConnell’s sabotage of his own side in the Senate races won’t come as a surprise to most Republicans, but many are unaware that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy used similar tactics in several House races during the same period. McCarthy’s behavior is even worse than McConnell’s in light of the extremely underwhelming House election results. Although observers expected a “red wave” that would yield a strong Republican majority in the House, Republicans are likely to have just a five-vote advantage in the end.
According to The Washington Post, the political machine around McCarthy directed millions to be spent against Republican candidates in GOP primaries associated with the America First movement. Yes, you read that correctly. McCarthy surrogates, including Amazon lobbyist Jeff Miller, directed four political action committees to attack key candidates to McCarthy’s right in primary elections around the country.
Here are just a few examples: $1.7 million against Freedom Caucus member Madison Cawthorn in NC-11; $2 million in WA-3 against Joe Kent, and $2 million to prop up Kent’s primary opponent; $1.5 million spent against Carl Paladino in NY-23; $1 million against Christian Collins in TX-8; at least $1 million against Karoline Leavitt in NH-1; various amounts against J. R. Majewski in OH-9 and David Giglio in CA-13; and finally, $1.5 million against me in FL-7, a safe Republican seat, where McCarthy surrogates ran false and negative ads through “American Liberty Action PAC,” one of the four McCarthy attack PACs controlled by his surrogates. The list goes on.
It is remarkable that McCarthy’s main focus was not always on defeating Democrats, but to safeguard himself against challenges to his leadership within the GOP from incoming America First candidates. It is hard to escape the conclusion that, had these resources been spent on helping instead of undermining anti-establishment Republican candidates, the GOP would have won a stronger hold over the House.
McCarthy—like McConnell—cares more about being surrounded by Republican colleagues aligned with the establishment than winning elections for Republicans. His actions show he would rather his side lose than reflect the popular will by letting in new-right Republicans who think differently than he does about immigration, trade, war, and the managerial state.
McCarthy has emerged as worse than a mere establishment stooge: he has effectively declared war on the America First movement and has proven willing to use party resources to fight against new candidates. But he may have overplayed his hand. With the House Speaker vote just around the corner in January, McCarthy is in a precarious position as a backlash to his leadership mounts.
Sabatini is right. McCarthy currently doesn’t have enough votes to be Speaker so he is making bold promises about what he would do as the next Speaker.
Unfortunately, McCarthy is a pawn of corrupt former Speaker Paul Ryan. McCarthy is about party before America just like Ryan.
What America needs at this moment in time is a very strong and courageous House Leader who will deal with the crime and corruption within the DOJ and FBI, the corruption leading to stolen elections, corruption at all levels and in all government entities, and in dealing with those in America who are trying to destroy this great country.
