Gateway Pundit Legal Victory: Troll “Fact Checker” Loses Bid with Missouri Supreme Court to Dismiss Lawsuit **Support Our Legal Fund Here**

The Missouri Supreme Court smacked down Lead Stories “Fact Check” author Dean Miller in his attempt to dismiss Gateway Pundit’s defamation lawsuit against him.

Lead Stories is a “fact-checking” site contracted by Facebook to attack “disinformation” – but its true role is to smear conservative websites and provide a “plausible” basis for Fakebook to ban sites the uniparty regime dislikes.

Gateway Pundit (TGP) sued Miller in January for a shockingly reckless and defamatory article Miller wrote against TGP in October 2020. Miller implied TGP lied in its reporting about the Hunter Biden Laptop (including writing about Hunter’s penchant for posting videos and photos to Pornhub.com of himself having sex with girlfriends, whores, and randos. Miller also argued that frequent TGP collaborator Yaacov Apelbaum and his firm XRVision, who had authenticated the laptop, were complete frauds, masquerading as security and technology experts.

Unimpressed with the defamatory attacks, Gateway Pundit, Apelbaum, and Jim and Joe Hoft all filed suit against Miller. And yet, prior to filing suit, TGP’s lawyer requested Miller “print” a retraction to avoid suit, and Miller essentially told TGP to go pound sand.

After TGP filed its suit, Miller asked the court to dismiss the suit – and lost. Despite having a frivolous argument, Miller then appealed this loss to the Missouri Court of Appeals – and lost again. Miller then appealed this further loss to the Missouri Supreme Court…..and LOST. AGAIN. Miller needs new lawyers who understand Missouri law: they’re currently 0 for 3 against Gateway Pundit.

With Miller having exhausted his appeals, Gateway Pundit now looks forward to continuing to prosecute its case against Miller, seeking justice for his outrageous and defamatory statements. Of course, if he’s a glutton for punishment, Miller could attempt to appeal to the US Supreme Court….and risk losing….again.

Again, just to summarize: self-styled Fakebook “fact-checker” Dean Miller lost to Gateway Pundit in court today. Again.

BREAKING: Texas “Heartbeat” Law Takes Effect; Abortions After 6 Weeks ARE NOW ILLEGAL After SCOTUS Ignores Emergency Request to Block Law

A groundbreaking new Texas law, that protects every unborn child with a detectable heartbeat from being killed by an abortion, has taken effect after it cleared its latest hurdle in the Supreme Court.

The “heartbeat” law will effectively outlaw abortions in the state after 6 weeks and also gives any citizen – including those outside Texas – the right to take legal action against anyone who ‘aids and abets’ the termination of a pregnancy after the cut off point.

“The life of every unborn child with a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said when he signed the bill in May.

The bill is unique in how the ban will be enforced and will not punish women if they commission an abortion, according to Rebecca Parma – a senior legislative associate at Texas Right to Life.

The Texas Heartbeat Act is novel in approach, allowing for citizens to hold abortionists accountable through private lawsuits. No heartbeat law passed by another state has taken this strategy. Additionally, the bill does not punish women who obtain abortions.’

The measure became official late Tuesday night after the Supreme Court ignored an emergency request that was filed by Planned Parenthood and the ACLU in an attempt to block it from becoming law.

It is now after midnight central time and there has been no ruling from the Supreme Court on the Texas law that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. That means the law has officially taken effect. An emergency request to block the law remains pending at SCOTUS.

In the early morning on Wednesday, the ACLU confirmed that the nation’s highest court had “not responded to our request.”

The group alleges that 90% of all abortions will now come to an end in the state because the overwhelming majority of them take place after 6 weeks. Up until now, Texas had allowed unborn children to be killed all the way up until 20 weeks, only granting exceptions for serious medical risks.

According to the most recent data, there were over 55,000 abortions carried out in Texas alone – If 90% are stopped by this new law, that amounts to almost 50,000 innocent children being saved.

AMAZING!

Thanks to Governor Abbott and the Republican-led legislature, they were able to pass and enact the strongest protections for the unborn since Roe V. Wade legalized the horrific practice in 1973.

This is a HUGE WIN for the Pro-Life movement and countless unborn children – hopefully it sets the precedent for other states to follow.

24 Sacramento School Children are Still Stranded in Afghanistan after ALL US Forces Leave the Country – Taliban Prevented Them from Reaching Airport (VIDEO)

There are several hundred Americans still stranded in Afghanistan after Joe Biden pulled all US troops from the country on Monday.

The American students are hiding in Afghanistan.

According to family members the Taliban prevented the children from reaching the airport.

According to the Sacramento Bee about 9,700 Afghan people live in Sacramento County, more than any other county in the U.S.

Via FOX News:

The office of Rep. Ami Bera, D-Calif., confirmed to Fox News that two dozen Sacramento-area students are stranded in Afghanistan and the Biden administration has not provided an update on their status.

Bera’s office confirmed in an email to Fox News that the students were trapped overseas, and the California Democrat’s team has been in contact with the San Juan Unified School District (SJUSD) but has not received any update from the administration.

“Our office has been in close contact with the San Juan Unified School District, and have urgently flagged this with the Department of Defense and State Department. We have not received an update from DOD or State,” Bera spokesperson Travis Horne told Fox News on Tuesday.

School district staff told the Sacramento Bee on Monday that 24 of their students had not returned from Afghanistan.
