Tonight at 7 pm ET, CNN is hosting a debate between incumbent Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Raphael Warnock. The two candidates received the largest number of votes in the November general election, but Georgia law requires a runoff election as neither obtained 50% of the vote. The runoff will be held on January 5th. Georgia’s other Senate seat will also hold a concurrent runoff election on that date. Incumbent Republican Senator David Perdue has declined invitations to debate Democrat Jon Ossoff.
The voter registration to vote in the runoff election is tomorrow, December 7. Register to vote or check your registration to make sure your registration is current if you’re an eligible Georgia resident.
