The American people are now ruled by an immoral and illegitimate regime, whose sock-puppet figurehead claims that MAGA Republicans are extremists who pose “a threat to this country.” Meanwhile, the FBI has been weaponized against conservatives, the IRS is hiring 87,000 new agents who must be willing to use “deadly force” against you and your family, and the DOJ considers you as a potential “violent extremist” if you voice opposition to Critical Race Theory or transgender propaganda being taught to your child at school. Of course, there are many more examples of their totalitarian abuse of power.
The federal government will never be restored to its proper, constitutional boundaries. That battle is already lost. Suppose the Republicans take back the House and Senate this November. What will they accomplish? Are we expecting McCarthy and McConnell to save America?
With rigged elections, there are no guarantees that the Republicans will even take back the House. In 2020, President Trump attracted crowds of 20,000+ per rally, while Biden couldn’t fill a high school gymnasium. And yet—somehow—the Democrats maintained a slim majority in the House. The brazen raid on Mar-a-Lago proved that the regime is not worried about suffering electoral consequences—because the elections are rigged. Just a few days ago, Alaska “elected” a Democrat to Congress for the first time in fifty years. This is a bad omen of how things might go across the country this November.
What can be done?
The idea that we can redeem the federal government is not realistic.
It is now the official position of the Republican Party of Texas to hold a statewide referendum on whether Texas should peacefully become an independent nation. Plank 225 of the party platform states the following: “Texas Independence: We urge the Texas legislature to pass a bill in its next session requiring a referendum in the 2023 general election for the people of Texas to determine whether or not the State of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation.”
America’s founding principles are of a higher value than the mere Union itself. Texas can rescue and revive America’s founding principles, by a total separation from the federal regime. If Texas secedes, other states will surely follow. Over time, conservative states could form a new Union. This would usher in a renaissance of limited government and the rule of law.
The only way to resist the federal monster is as STATES. That is the only approach that has any chance of working. Slogans like “ammo up” express understandable frustration, but do not propose an effective solution. The American colonies seceded from the British Empire as states—not as vigilantes, but as organized political communities.
If you live in Texas, please ask your State Representative and State Senator to support a referendum on Texas Independence. You can find them at this link: https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home
