“The Regime has Guns and Bullets but they are Afraid of Our Hair” – Update on the Revolution in Iran

The uprisings in Iran continue as protestors have started calling it a “Revolution” and claiming certain towns and neighborhoods in Tehran have been liberated from the Islamic dictatorship. Police, Bassiji militia and Revolutionary guards have started shooting randomly at protestors. At least 50 are believed dead.

Demonstrators are said to have liberated several towns in the Kurdish north. In Oshnavieh, “Regime forces have fled and all IRGC/Basij bases are burning in flames”, far-left People’s Mujaheddin activist Heshmat Alavi wrote. Army units are said to be deploying to Oshnavieh to quell the unrest.

New-York-based Iranian dissident Masih Alinejad said, “The Regime has guns and bullets but they are afraid of our hair”. Alinejad posted images of young women believed killed by the regime:

This woman who’s video of getting ready to stand face to face with the killer of #MahsaAmini got killed herself. Her name was Hadis Najafi. Her sister told me that she was only 20 Yr old and she got killed by 6 bullets in the city of Karaj.

Ghazale Chelavi took to the streets to protest the killing of #MahsaAmini by hijab police in Iran but she herself got killed by security forces. Her friend told me that she got shot in the head in Amol city. She was 32 Yr old mountaineer full of life. Her family are shocked.

Ghazaleh Chelavi was shouting: “We are all #MahsaAmini”. Now indeed she is another Mahsa and now herself got killed by police in Iran. international media ask my if we Iranians trust that the regime said they will investigation the death of Mahsa. No and this is the reason.

Another woman, Hananeh Kia, 23 years old, was shot by Iranian security forces while she was protesting over the murder of #MahsaAmini in Nowshar city. She is one of the dozens of ppl lost their lives during the ongoing protests. The world must take action against our killers.

This is a 18 year old woman also named Mahsa was killed by the Islamic republic in the protest over the brutal death of #MahsaAmini Her name is Mehsa Mogoi. She got shot in Isfahan. If the world don’t take action more people with get killed.

A video from Tehran seemed to show riot police throwing a young woman’s head against the curb.

Elon Musk announced he would be deploying Starlink internet to Iran as the regime tries to cut off the internet. Unconfirmed reports claim Starlink is alread up and running at various points in Iran.

Hackers group anonymous claimed to have hacked the personal information of the Iranian National Assembly and released it  online:
