In Minneapolis, 13 restaurant employees who worked Trump fundraiser are now quarantined

Reports coming out of Minnesota point to even more public health fallout from the unhygienic Trump administration. According to KARE11, 13 staff members of Murray’s Restaurant, a steakhouse in downtown Minneapolis, have been quarantined after having worked a Trump fundraising event shortly before it was announced the president was sick with COVID-19.

The restaurant released a statement saying: “Our staff was there to work the party only and at no point did any staff come in close proximity to the president. Upon learning of the president’s positive COVID-19 test, we immediately enacted a 14-day quarantine for all staff who worked the party. Additionally, each staff member who worked the party will be tested for COVID-19.”

The fundraiser was held on Wednesday at CEO Marty Davis’s home in Lake Minnetonka, where Murray’s Restaurant catered the event. Guests have told news outlets that they were never within six feet of the president, even when taking pictures. Minnesota Republican politicians at the fundraiser, including Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Jason Lewis, have both said they tested negative for the virus.
